Maths prove it- Volume,Area and perimeter of shapes

1. Perimeter of shapes
Here is an Example of perimeter . 

Since a square is even we have to figure out what u + u + u + u = 32. First think back to the 4 time tables. 
8 x 4= 32 because there is four sides on the even square. 











Here is an example of area. 
For area you only have to multiply two sides. So we need to work out 22 x 22. Here is a picture . It  was = 484. That is your answer. 










Here is an example of volume. You have to muliply all the sides It is like perimeter but  you time the sides. So 3 x 3 x 3 = 27. 
















Here is a second example of volume.

We have to figure out q x q x q = 8. They have to be the same number. 2 x 2 x 2 = 8 . That is your answer.
