Mean, Median,Mode and Range.

Walt: Describe what mean, median, mode and range are.

Mean:
Here is an example of mean.
5, 6 ,7, 8,9. (Add all these numbers up) 
They add up to 35.
Then divide 35 by the total of numbers. (There is 5 numbers) 
35/5= 7. The mean is 7. 

Median:
Here is an example of median.
5, 3, 2, 5, 5, 9, 7 (Put these numbers in order)
2, 3, 5 ,5, 5, 7, 9 
Then find the middle number.
The middle number is 5.
The median is 5. 

Mode:
Here is an example of mode.
6,7,8, 8, 9,9,9 
Find the most repeated number. 
It is 9. 
The mode is 9. 

Range: 
Here is an example of range.
1, 5, 5, 8, 9, 10
Find the smallest number, then find the biggest number.
The smallest number is 1.
The biggest number is 10. 
Then minus 10- 1 .
The range is 9.
